Thinking about actors who have worked on my plays and film scripts. They include
Wren Arthur, Matt Dillon, Martin Donovan, Thomas Gibson, Frank Harts, Philip Seymour Hoffman, Melissa Leo, Audra McDonald, Idina Menzel, Julianne Nicholson, Will Patton, Cara Seymour, Michael Shannon, Fisher Stevens, Melora Walters and Shea Whigham.
People that I've worked and studied with include: experimental theatre pioneer, Joseph Chaikin, Judith Malina, Amiri Baraka, and Stella Adler.
Next week I start Zoetrope's advanced screenwriting class--one of only 16 students.
Cliff Robertson dies
He Played my dad in the movie, THE PILOT. Why didn't we know more about this Oscar winning actor/movie star? Because bravely, Cliff Robertson exposed corruption in Hollywood and the movie industry. Instead of being heralded, he was blacklisted and maligned. He was a great man. So handsome. SO smart. A real gentleman.

My raves for Cara Seymour's work with Patrick Fitzgerald on Gibraltar
To Whom It May Concern,
I’ve been to see Patrick Fitzgerald’s adaptation of Gibraltar twice since its inception 3 years ago.
The duet of Cara Seymour’s Molly Bloom and Patrick Fitzgerald’s Leopold Bloom create a love-infused, sexual and intellectual powerhouse that is truly unforgettable.
It’s as if these two historic lights are, for an hour or so, alive. Like two hardy Gods playing roughly in front of us, they gambol and quake like lions within the sheer joy of their words and the muscular blood in their veins.
Whoever produces this will be showered in accolades, pride, and yes, tons of money. Everyone will want to come and see these two actors at the height of their talents.
